The technique

Into the fibre,
not on top

The direct-to-garment technique lays water-based ink straight into 100% cotton. No plastic layer on top, so the image moves with the fabric and photographs keep their detail. On black and the other dark colours, a white base goes under the image first.

Every piece is made for one person, from the design they approved: a pet, a drawing, a sketch, a photograph or a few words, large in the centre of the chest of a tee or a crewneck, in black, bone or fifteen more colours; on the hoodie, set as a graphic.

Before you buy

Each piece is made for you from the design you approved, so it is not returnable. Check the preview, the colour and the size before you check out.

Wearing & care

Wash cold, inside out. No bleach. Dry low or hang. Do not iron the image.

Who is Magic Wear?

A small label that makes 100% cotton tees, crewnecks and hoodies carrying the pictures people send, one at a time, in black, bone and fifteen more colours.

Why are the pieces in the shop black and bone?

They are the label's two colours, and both carry a picture well: black with a white base under the image, bone with the ink straight in. When you make your own, the studio offers fifteen more as well.

What happens to the picture I send?

It is used to draw and make your piece, and for nothing else. It is not sold on, not published, and it is deleted when the order is complete.

Can I see a piece before I order?

You see your own design first, drawn free on the create page before anything is made. For pieces being worn, there are photographs on the reviews page, shown as examples.

Is there a shop to visit?

No. Magic Wear sells online only, and every piece is sent tracked to your door.
