A sharp, well-lit picture with the subject filling the frame comes out best. A phone photo is plenty, and so is a drawing photographed flat in daylight. Very fine lines, tiny text and neon colours do not come out well, so leave them out or make them bigger, and type a joke on the Words tab instead.

Which photos work?
- The subject in focus and filling most of the frame
- Daylight or even indoor light, no harsh flash
- One subject, or a few close together
- The whole subject in the frame: the ears, the paws, the whole drawing
How do I send a drawing?
Lay it flat in daylight and take the picture straight on, the whole sheet in the frame. Crayon, felt tip, pencil and ink all come through, and the preview usually leaves the paper behind. If the drawing is in one ink and should stay that way, write "keep the image exactly as uploaded" in the touch box.
And the joke from the group chat?
Type it on the Words tab of the create page rather than uploading a screenshot: up to 40 characters on up to three lines, set large in a serif across the chest. No photo needed.
What about the hoodie?
Questions this leaves
Can I use an old photo?
Yes, if it is sharp enough to show the detail you want. A scan, or a picture of the print taken straight on, works better than one taken at an angle.
